35-50.00 depending if you are slling rural or in town. Also we have a Energy Asisstance program that subsidizes wood for low income families. Last year they valued @ 50.00 per rick (2'x4'x8') for their agents.

I heat my house with a wood stove only, very redneck.
Prescott AZ We're a mile high. I'm in the mountains it's cold here at night

Approximate Cord prices
Pine 95
Juniper 100-150
Oak cut and split 140-220

I get my wood free(landscaping business perk)
I burn it all. At this moment the stove is cookin away with ash, pine and walnut.

And you're right, there seems to be a lot less scrap available.

Pine and juniper here are pulp or pallet wood. We do ash, maple, gum, walnut, cherry, poplar, oak, you know, seasoned hardwood. Some sassafras but man that burns too hot, run you out.

We don't have a whole lot of hardwood around here. Alligator juniper is very desirable firewood. Burn'in pallets is OK. Our chiminy is easy to clean. Free fuel is free fuel. If you burn crappy wood along with hardwood. It'll burn hot and clean.

I cut down a huge almond tree last year. Man that was nice wood!

$150 to $200 a full split cord delivered (50 mile limit, $10 to stack it) on the northwest corner of the Olympic Peninsula.

Up to $350 in Seattle.

You can get a dump truck of green sticks for $275, but really pay if you want it delivered and dumped more than 25 miles away.

Check out the classified ads in the online papers or just let me know how much you want!

There's profit if you melt things!!

subsidized wood for low income families!?

not that i can say much, seeing as my province (ON) subsidizes electricity for everyone, rich or poor, but socialism is EVERYWHERE.

I say, don't tax everything, then maybe we could afford a chainsaw and gas.

metal is a claim on future human labour. let's all go get some while the getting is good, eh?

Your wood lives in a sturdier and better ventilated structure than most humans on earth.

Well done.
