Is the rise in prices of food a telling sign of the coming inflation?
I went to the grocery store the other day and was shocked when an 18 count of eggs was $2.56 a carton. A year ago, I could buy those eggs for $1 cheaper.
Luckily, I found a local store where they were on sale for $1.56 for an 18 count and bought a bunch.

| Prices are going to slowly work their way up, and average people will realize that it's time to stock up before things get worse. |

| My eggs went up at Wallie-world :-( They were consistently in the $1.77 or less range and I was surprised the other day when they were up at $2. |

| If the prices are not going up, look at the package size. Many are just reducing the amount the put in the package. I see it everyday. Working in a grocery store for the past 20+ years, I have seen a lot of changes. More in the last 2-3 years than in the other 17-18. |
