1-Box nickels 2-WN Waking to a huge pile of snow, maybe 15+ plus and no sign of stopping ATM No it’s deeper. I’ve been having wild days for coins.
Yesterday I went to a two machine bank to dump halves and nickels mostly. I noticed coins in the reject pipe of machine one and ran a small handful of nickels thru before checking the rejects. Some special bank types will jump on you “they’re not yours” unless you actually use the machine so… Then, after considerable machine mining, I switched machines knowing this machine needed service. I got over 300 dimes, 150 pennies and 10 quarters minimum plus a wild copper nickel version of a 5 Rupee Commemorative coin and many coins I have not seen from around the globe and a chunk of tokens.
That’s $42+ US over the two day period (see an earlier post from Thursday)

I did two boxes yesterday, about as close as you can get to skunks. First box had one 90%er in it. The second box had one 40%er in it in the last roll of the box. But I am not complaining it is better than getting skunked. |

From Friday late afternoon/evening.
VERY NICE, ABOVE AVERAGE DIME BOX!!!
I think I am starting to get hooked on the dismes!!! Very easy to get, every bank has a box or two laying around. No need to order or beg to get them like with halves. Anyways,
$250.00 Dimes.
Coin Wrap Inc. box dated 12/22/2009.
(4) 90% Silver Roosevelts - 46, 56D, 62D, 64D (1) 80% Silver Canadian "Young Queen" - 61 + 1973 Mexico Cinco Centavos (for the Foreign Legion section!!!).

Report on dimes searched:
$125.00 -- 25 CWRs
Silver dimes found - two -- 1/1964, 1/1964D 2009 dimes found - none Other found - one -- 1/1979 in a strong AU+ condition (kept for sentimental reasons as that was the year I was married)
Other stats: One roll over by 10 cents, two rolls shorted by 10 cents each
Overage/shortage total: Shorted 10 cents
Country, I appreciate the job you are doing with this project. I hate to ask, but could you please readdress the overage/shortage total for my dimes on page one of February. I had a shortage total of 9 cents since the one penny replaced a dime and you had my total shortage stats ending in a zero so something must have been missed. If I wasn't clear on that posting, I do apologize. Thanks.
Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. |
