Do any of you know of any banks that are open on Sunday? I have not discovered one in my area that is, and I was wondering if any of you know one. If there was a previous thread on this same topic, please post it here too. Thanks in advance.

I have one that is open on Sunday. It has a coin machine, but it is the slow ScanCoin machine that runs about 600cpm. If you fill the bag, too bad. They probably won't change quickly it due to only having one teller. I dumped halves there a few times because I was in the area.

I have 2 that are open on Sunday near my house. Union Bank and US Bank. They are both located in grocery stores. So check out your local grocery stores and see if any of them have a bank branch inside. You can even use the grocery carts to haul your coins in and out like creekrat used to do.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

I would be careful about banks in grocery stores. They'll likely be the first to get runs.

I have been to every bank in a grocery store within an 8 mile radius of my residence and they are open for extended hours on Saturday, but not open on Sunday.

There is a Wells Fargo in Wal-Mart near my home that is open on Sunday, but they are one of my dump banks. It is nice to be able to buy Saturday, dump Sunday and be ready again Monday morning.

There are many 24 hour banks in Houston that close for only Christmas Day.
They are always crowded on Sunday.

24 hour banks? Sure they aren't check cashing stores?

The banks inside Wal-Mart, Woodforest I think, are open on Sundays.

In NW GA/SE TN, I've never seen a bank open on Sunday. Heck, only a few are open on Saturday, the the few that do close at Noon. My bank only has its drive-through window open on Saturday.

I remember back in the day when local banks also closed at Noon on Wednesday. Ever heard the term "Banker's Hours"??

There is one at our Walmart; I don't remember the name of the bank though.

Wow, I didn't realize how rough some of you have it. While none of my banks have machines, at least they all have convenient hours. Every one of my banks is open Saturday. My CU is the only one that isn't. I plan pickups and dumps based on the closing time. Some close at 1.. some at 2.. some at 4 and one at 6. The 2 grocery store banks have extended hours on Saturday, but I can't remember what they are.. since I only hit them on Sunday. I often pick up a bunch of coins in the morning.. sort.. roll.. and return to one of the other banks that afternoon.

Try credit unions. Several branches of my credit union are open Saturday until 7:00pm, and open on Sunday until 1:00pm I think. I've taken advantage of these hours several times.

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I believe, there are a few. Citizen's, and TD bank are the larger ones. But looking at bankrate.com i found regional banks also have sunday hours.

Bankrate.com has a list of banks, and you can check by your state for which ones are located near you.

For my area, credit unions are the first to close, besides the terribly inconvenient BofA that closes at 4:00 on Weekdays.

Remember just a couple years ago most banks weren't open past 3pm... That was a real hassle to pick up coins on weekdays.
