Are We In An Economic Depression?

Few professionals are yet willing to admit we have been in a depression for the last year. You have to understand the position that economists and analysts are in. They work for corporations, insurance, Wall Street, banking and government and if they thought we were in a depression and they publicly announced that all chances for advancement would be lost or they would be squeezed out of the firm or simply fired.

One more time "No Export = No Recovery"... Ponce

I will be AT LEAST two generations (50-70 years) before we will be able to "some how" recover from what is going on.....but only if we were to start now by changing the education of the childrens in order to have some new blood in the market place and come up with new ideas and inventions that the rest of the world doesn't have... and then we will have to keep ahead of the game for ever.

When we were young bucks, my best friend's father (no longer on this planet) once gave us these wise words 30+ years ago "if your neighbor is out of work, it's a recession. If you are out of work, it's a depression". So far, it's a recession. Will keep you posted.

Every great civilization falls. Maybe the U.S. won't get back up from this one.
