This has to be a new one. I have meant to post for a while. The last time I got a bag of dimes, I found a cell phone sized SD card in it.

Kirkland: SD cards are the little memory chips that you use in digital cameras and some cell phones and things like that.

I haven't been able to buy a SD card for 10 cents. Congrats on the find.

I am used to calling those memory sticks. That's what everybody else calls them in my area.

You could easily delete what's on it and use it for yourself.

I believe that we should first find out what is on it! How exciting! Could be several hundred songs... incriminating pictures... sensitive documents... top secret plans to rule the world...

Or photos from a vacation from the holidays. Boring, yes, but most likely.

It is most likely out of a cell phone. I am thinking it will have a bunch of songs on it.

I'm guessing Jefferson is on the right track here. I was looking at those coins a while back just for kicks, but never purchased one as I am sure I would lose it.. and the card. Plus I have no reason to hide an SD card, haha.

Wow, I had no idea that this would be such a hot topic. I sat on it for a month before I posted it. I do not believe that I have any device capable of reading the card, but I will try to find out and keep you guys posted.

What type of card? I bet someone here has something to read it.

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

Take it to Kinkos or one of their competitors and they can show you what's on it if you tell them you want to print one of the pictures.
You can always change your mind about printing or "remember" that you brought in the wrong card.

There's profit if you melt things!!

take it to a department store and pop it in a laptop demo, they all have slots for those now, although it might look suspicious but you're not doing anything wrong, thats what demos are for

alternatively you could buy a cheap scan disk dock/reader , they are only about 10 dollars, and return it when you're done

i hope theres somthin juicy on that disk

If its a mini sd card, then you probably will need an SD adapter card to fit it into before you can pop it into any card reading device. They usually come as a pair when you purchase it. Kind of like this. You must be logged in to see this link.
