I can't stand how butt-ugly some of my copper is, so I'm tossing it aside into a separate box. When copper doubles or triples, I'll try and sell these... unless there is a market for them now? Maybe someone knows some type of bath solution they could soak them in to remove the green/blue grunge? Is there anyone on realcent so desperate for copper that they'd be willing to go say $125 and shipping for $100 face value? Copper is copper, when it gets down to brass tacks... but these babies are hideous. I know we all run across them, what do we do with them? Someone else asked if keeping them together can cause "contamination", I don't think we ever got a definitive answer.

In short, yes, they can be sold. In fact, I just shipped out 55 pounds yesterday.

Those are cute compared to mine. Try spray-painting them turquois, running them thru a grater, daubing roofing tar on them, or staining them midnight black somehow... and you still wouldn't approach how ugly mine are. Nate, yours actually have copper showing!  |

| Cool copper bullion bags, Nate! I actually think copper pennies are nice looking coins, but maybe that's just because I know their value and my eyes go directly to one in a pile of zincs. |
