I went to the bank to pick up bags today, and they didn't have any
Generally, they have more than i can take (and certainly more than my wife would like me to).
I had to settle for finding a couple of bank boxes. It sure stinks having to open the rolls. I've spoiled with the bags.
I hope people start using the coin counter soon.

I know that they didn't go back by armored car, because that happens on Thursday and I try to get there on Wed. If I can't get there I call (or they call) and they hold them for me.
They said that since the new year, no one has been using the free sorter. Activity was real heavy the whole month of Dec, but not now. I know of another bank with a sorter, it is kind of out of the way. I have sometimes used them as a dump. I might try using them as a source.
Yes bags are awesome and I have gotten spoiled with them. |

Bags are indeed the way to go. They are what I prefer. That being said, I recently set up a new standing order for boxes as well. Brinks condom wrappers are okay, the machine wrapped paper rolls suck. They all count though....

Hey knibloe were you the one that posted say people are returning CWR's of completely zinc? Perhaps someone is buying your bags.
Anyone that takes bags of pennies runs the risk of getting a bag that isn't accurate in coin count. I know this is also the case for fed wrapped rolls, but i've been burned worse on the bags than the rolls. |

| I have not tried bags simply because I do not yet get that much in one trip, and I know that I would never go back to rolls. Still, there is nothing wrong about rolls and boxes. |

I actually will say that i would be happy to get bags, but i'm still hesitant about accurate counting machines at local banks. If i didn't get the boxes i'd also have a harder time shipping to my buyers. So the boxes do come in handy, and the rolls are great for waxing the slide of the Ryedale, and storing collectible pennies.
Both are good as long as the count is 5000(or greater  ). |

| I agree with slick...generally there is at least one dime in the bag which accounts for most if any wrong count. The fve bags i did today were all short...the worst was by 12 cents. but I had a total of 8 dimes, so actually is was even, give and take. |
