Poll Question:
If an unlimited amount of copper cents were available to purchase in presorted form, delivered at 1.3 times face. How much would you purchase today? ( your answer should reflect willing and available resources. This could include other investors who have funds available)

| I don't have much money so it would have to be 500 or less. However if I had a lot of money I would buy as many as I could since I can sell them for 2 cents a piece. |

| I think everyone finds fault with the polls at this site :). I too wouldn't really buy any at that price currently since the finding is so easy. Also if they were promised at that price today, perhaps they'd also be here tomorrow or the next day. So i'd happily wait until things changed dramatically. |

People buy for different reasons. I wouldn't buy because I can sort my own at face.
Others who have weighed the options, feel it is better to let someone else do the work and just buy them presorted. Goes back to what I said before. You know you can prepare a meal at home cheaper, but like the convenience of going out to dinner where it is prepared for you. |

At this point, I will not pay a premium for something I can get for face value.
However,I might pay a premium whenever they disappear from general circulation. |

When they disappear(like Silver) everyone who desires them as a hedge will pay a premium. Considering the time and work involved to accumulate any volume I would think this premium would be like a gift. Considering the drive to bank, gas and time,to and from, opening $25.00 box, sort and re-wrap return trip to dump zinc. Avg 30% NET approx $4.00 per hour. Yes I know most of us buy quantity, probably bagged and auto sorted even so they potential profit can't be that much higher. O.K. go ahead and poke holes in my numbers it's O.K. I have tough skin. What could I net per hour with a fully auto system? vs hand sort? |
