Found my first 1950-D around the new year. It is in pretty good shape.

Nice find! I am still waiting for my first.

I don't sort many nickels, BUT I have religiously checked my change ever since I was about 8 years old. The 1950-D nickel was one of the coins I always wanted to find and to this day I have not. That's thirty years of searching!!! My understanding is that the vast majority of '50-D are Unc. coins as they were hoarded, so tough to find one in circ. as oober stated.

Heck of a find. Congrats, oly.

Nice find indeed.
Renews my hope of stumbling across one before I take the big dirt nap.

Congrats. It was a great feeling when I found mine. I think I turned it over to look for the D mint on the back at least 20 times.
