Searching some nickels late today I just found a 1950 D. It would conservatively grade at an AU 58 or perhaps a bit higher. I can see one small scratch on the obverse.

I've looked at the date and mint mark just about as many times as I looked at my 1999 Wide AM Penny when I first found it. I check the date, then check my Redbook, then check the date/mint mark again and then check the Redbook. LOL

It's a beautiful coin and you can't beat the price, five cents--found searching nickels!!!
