Just going throgh a few rolls from my local credit union. I found a 1913 S penny. In good condition,not a lot of detail left on old Abe but a good find. My 2009 blue book says its worth $3.00 US, not bad for a penny. Anybody there with a red book value?? I have to wait a few more days before I get mine.

Congratulations on your find!!! Was it in a CWR or a plastic sleeve like a BWR?
Thanks everybody, $10.00-12.00 is great turn around for a penny investment. This was a CWR find. My credit union has been very nice to me. I 've got to get them some chocolate.
Great find! That is one of the tougher ones to find. Folks go through entire "unsearched" bags of wheat cents and often don't find a coin as good as that. Congratulations!

Great find indeed. When I read your post I was thinking that is worth way more then $3. those early S's are pretty rare and to think Mr Deal got all mine!
