I don't think "I will seriously consider it" is actually a promise to get rid of them. His answer was good enough at the time to appease the questioner. Politics at its best.

I hope he does, once the cent is gone we can start will to the scrap yard, however newer sorters are probably hoping they don't eliminate it.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Where and how to you sell your copper pennies? I just started a month ago and have @ 100 lbs, hand sorting is getting harder every night. I'm not trying to sell ,but just wanted to know how people sell off their copper. Thanks

Many folks sell right here on the forum to other members.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
