I went to Wells Fargo today that I don't typically go to.

I was turning in $100 of nickels. Of course, I was getting the whole I have to deposit this to your account then cash it out. Then I was asked where did I get all of these nickels and the teller said she guessed I didnt need them anymore (kind of a funny statement)

I was just upfront with her and told her I sort nickels and she asked me what I looked for. I gave her a little tutorial on where the mint mark was for the World War II silver nickels.

As she was handing me the $100, she said wouldn't you like a new box of nickels instead. I was kind of suprised and said sure if you are willing to do that. She said "far be it from me to prevent someone from collecting" She went back and got me a box of $100 in the clear plastic rolls.

Never picked up from the same bank I dropped off at.

I have done this several times before. I do not ask tellers to do this, however, after the collecting discussion, tellers have occasionally offered to swap boxes. If they offer to swap, I never decline.
