As I am sorting my nickels, I am coming across some 1939 nickels; I am keeping the 1939 S nickels for my own collection.
If I amass enough of non-S 1939 nickels, is there much value or much of a market for them? Would I have to amass a whole bag of them before they would be desirable?

| I would think that there is a market for them in a group as small as a roll. |

| You can get almost double face for 1930's of any date if you put a little leg work in. |

Since I am still fairly new to this hobby and have so much yet to learn, please clarify.
I looked in my RedBook and didn't find the term Fair listed anywhere. Would that fall below a G-4 or would it be better than a G-4?
Thanks for anyone's help.

Barry, Fine is F-12. 6 would still be G and 8-12 is VG. |
