HOWDY FOLKS!

I have a chance to buy some Canadian silver dollars for $10 each, dates ranging from 1962-1967.(.6 oz of silver per coin)

Do you think this is a good price for them?
He has 90 of them.

What price can fellow Canadian forum members get common date Canadian silver dollars at currently?

Thanks!!

If I were to sell any currently, I would ask a minimum of $12.50 for them, so $10 is a good deal.

Most of them have been taken out of the plastic film proof sets.

I already purchased 6 of the 67's from him a couple of days ago.

He also gave me 22 PL 1967 nickels for free.

A good calculator for canadian silver coin values is You must be logged in to see this link. . It gives the option of seeing values in canadian dollars, which coinflation doesn't as far as I know. Right now it gives a value of C$11.18 per dollar face so I'd say that's a very good deal for this point in time.

I have been buying them at $9.50 to 10.00 each. I actually bought some 1950's for the same price.
