There are only 2 coin shops in the town that I live in. and I want to see what people on here usually pay for morgan dollars. The best price I can get locally is $25 a piece when buying at least 10.

I can get them for 20 all day long. He claims they are XF/ AU. I havn't looked at any to verify. 17-18 would be closer to a good price for an average coin. IMO |

I would be happy to sell them at $20 all day long. Pretty sure I can pick some up in the 17-18 range. |

If you are looking for specific dates, I might be able to help you out. Most of these would be in AU/BU condition and the more rare dates will be nothing less than XF. But the pricing would be based on numismatic value.
If you want just bullion dollars, you can find them for less than $25. A You must be logged in to see this link. was for $18 a piece for 19 which was a great deal. Heck, you should be able to find Silver Eagles for less than $25 a piece. |

At the houston coin show on Friday, I picked up a few pretty worn ones in the 16 to 17 dollar range. |

collector (not sure the exact spelling) has an add for around $16 each on the forum "buy" page.
B&M shops are generally not great for Morgans as Morgans are the most popular coin out there really and so that is where they pay the rent :) |

I picked up a few common dates for $15 each last week, but the most i've paid for a common morgan was $18. $25 is to high IMO unless there is something special about them. |

I can get them in circulated condition for $16-18 locally, depending on spot price. |

What he is selling is coins in uncirculated condition. He has several graded morgans in the low 60's for $29-30. If you don't think the morgans are worth it then I will just buy bullion. Thanks |

Well in my opinion Morgans can be a very fun way to invest in the long run but you very well better know what your doing with them. Grading these buggers accuratly is one of the key components to successfully "investing" in silver dollars. There are a great number of people out there that collect them which makes them one of the easier numis items to resale or to find at a decent price. You just have to look in the right places. If you want to play it safe, simply buy bulk "junk" morgans and peace. You can actually pull out some nice one's from the junk piles many times as well. I would put a range of 14-17 right now on the average circulated morgans. I usually buy them from 12-15 but silver is up quite a bit from my last purchase :)

I can get NGC MS62 $ MS63's for $29 or 30. The other store is the only one that sells junk silver, but I have never seen anything bigger than a half in it. He is selling for 13 times face. I also found out that the local Oxford Assayers has peace dollars for $17. So what is the best bet to get something to hold it's value.
I know silver is going to go up and down but I'm young and willing to hold onto it several decades. |

Yes it is the same company. I am fortunate enough to have one in my town. Mostly they have silver and gold bars, but they also have some silver coins and gold nuggets. |

I picked up 5 XF 1921 Morgans for $15 each yesterday. They were not holed, just nice looking coins. He asked what I wanted to pay for them-I should have said $10 each. |
