starting on the pile saw a bag with a couple steel (1943) showing so opened it (sitting on top of stack) put magnet in there and it was attacked with steels 198 in the bag!!!
talk about dream bag.. Ended up with 1477 wheats!! sadly only one IH 1903. time to look through the wheats to see if any goodies in there. I tell you if I wake up in a few minutes and find that this was all a dream I will off myslef.

Nice score! Here's a bigger version of the picture. Are those unsorted cents?

| The question I must ask is how did you get so many cents to go through? |

Thanks for the photos. Congrats on the great finds. I was just posting about not finding a single steel penny lately and you seem to have cornered the market on them. Awesome!!!
Continued success. |

Great pic and congrats on the finds. I have two questions. How are you going to get rid of all the zincs? Why only 1 Ryedale? |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

1 could do it.. but if a guy can get the pennies loose in bags there is a real benefit to running multiple machines. |

198 steel is a nice haul. The Wheat's are off the charts too. All in one bag.
HCBTT, bags have their problems too. You have to run them through a coin counter first. All the nasty ones are in bags. Boxes have the clean coins since the machines that wrapped them cleared the junk out for you. |

This is hardly a true statement. I only get boxes, and I get some terrible coins in them. My last $100 order was one of the worst I have ever seen, there had to have been at least 300 within the 4 boxes that looked like they were either from a fountain or from metal detecting. |

In my experiences, bags have all kinds of junk in them. Bent , stuck together , bubble gum covered, nickels, elongated pennies, cut, mutilated , foreign , glass, paper clips, washers, buttons, and other odd things. 75 % of the "junk" I find in the bags is stuff that you would NEVER find in a roll in a box.
CWR's are 2nd worst when its comes to "junk" being in them.
Did the pennies that were in the boxes jam the Ryedale? I don't care if they look bad, I just care if they jam the Ryedale.
Snappy, where did you get so many bags? Did you stock pile for a few weeks? |

Slick.. the plastic ones sure jammed up the Ryedale. Still a mystery to me how plastic pennies ended up in a machine rolled box. When the machine is set that loose all kinds of nasty ones could be in there. I would take the bags any day. I have plenty of high speed counters I could run them through first to remove the bent ones. |
