Poll Question:
If we develop the idea of Realcent being a Copper Cent Clearing House and we start getting a steady stream of buyers, how much copper would you be willing to sell?

$201 to $300
$301 to $400
$401 to $500
$501 to $1000
$1001 to $2000

Over what timeframe? I would be willing to sell all, get more, sell, get more, etc. Over time, it would exceed $2000.

Question refers to how much you have stashed right now. How much would you be willing to part with initially. The results I'm seeing from the four related questions are interesting. They seem to indicate, so far, that alot of people talk about selling and reinvesting to increase their hoard... but if it came right down to it and a buyer stood ready with cash... they might be reluctant to sell after all.

Hoard now and hold on!

I would sell all. but only to enhance my position in the market, the idea being, sell enough to buy bigger better equipment and increase the hoard without taking money out of your pocket

visit www.crazycoinguy.com
for information on how to sort, what to sort, and sorting equipment. We also sell copper pennies in bulk, and other coins.

I would not sell any. I don't need the capital to be able to grow my hoard (strike that - my stash as there has been discussion as to what qualifies as a hoard). I am accumulating my position in copper for the long haul. I do not believe current copper prices warrant selling at this time. I do understand that many on this site sell copper for 1.3-1.4 X face value, but my labor is currently worth no less than 5 X face value. I want to have a hoard in the future and don't want to be left out if copper cents go to 8-10 X face at some point in the distant future. I really don't think many people here are interested in selling the volume you are looking to move. There are certainly those here willing to sell volume now, but I don't see them jumping on selling significant quantities over the long term and on a regular interval basis.

Just my two cents!

I agree with toomuchcopper, I would love to get some more equipment, I also feel like I missed out on the silver. Which
is contradictory since I believe its going to $50/oz or better. A friend of mine bought a ton when it was at $3 or so and every time I see him he gives me an ounce or two for the heck of it. Lucky stiff. I tried to convince him pennies are the same thing on a different level. No interest, well, to each his own.

I think something is missing here. Maybe the question should be, "At what price are you willing to sell your copper?"

I'd sell now. But how are multiple venders going to distribute coin? What system do you propose to make the shipping uniform. Some people are hand sorting others use machines, there may be issues with quality assurance. Do we make all sales final. How does everyone get paid?

Great idea, allow us to raise the base sale price. But it has a lot of work to become anything more than an idea.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.
