That is another reason I stay away from that forum. And what is up with trying to become a member.

Bullionaire posted: Not trying to rain on anybody's parade but..........so you spend a bunch of valuable time looking for pre 1982 cents; even in ten years, if copper doubles (highly unlikely) there will not be a liquid market to sell them to.

Well guess what "buddy". You posted that in 2003 when copper was about $1.50, then it went up to $4 in 08. Almost 3X in about 5 years, not 10. Oh yeah, it is now over $3 again.

Those whooty tooty snooty guys over there get on my nerves.

You don't have to be the BEST you just have to be.......SLICK

I read an article on a survival blog where he said it wasnt worth sorting for pre 1982 pennies; they recommended only hoarding nickels. Im not sure if it is the same article. However, they are not taking into account all the other stuff you find... dimes, indian head pennies, wheat pennies, etc when you are sorting pennies

Hi all-

Do whatever YOU feel is right. Some people, like that Bullionaire guy, just live in dream worlds. Copper pennies are selling all day long on ebay for good profits. How the hell would he know "there will be no liquid market?" Go back to your mom's basement!

Only when they CAN'T have it, ......THEN they'll want it.

I love Cents. If you get an UNC box, you win. If you get a regular circ. box, you win. If you get a zinc box, you don't lose....so you still win.

Well the guy's name is billionaire. He must be rich. (A lot of sarcasm there.)
