I picked up 8 boxes of pennies today that I almost forgot I ordered. As I was breaking the rolls open, I saw log cabins, formative years, and professional life pennies in the mix. Not just 1 or 2, there was probably 1 2009 in each roll.
The copper % seemed to be about the same as usual, I just found it odd to see so many 09's.

| Slick, here in Chicago area I have continually been seeing about 3-4 2009s in every roll. Most of what I see are LP2s. |

It's been that way in Houston ever since they came out. I just throw the AU's in a seperate box now. Just holding onto the loose LP3's and will switch to the LP4's when they arrive en masse. |

| What I find in rolls are mostly LP1 and LP3 very few LP2. |

I finally found my first LP3s this week in the rolls my husband got for me with my birthday money from his mom.
But, in total, I have only found twenty-two 2009 pennies to date. Slim pickins' for sure!!! Wonder what 2010 will be like???

| Around here, i'm finding lots and lots of the LP3's and almost none of the other 2 types. Copper ratio is about same. |
