CNBC: Dollar may rebound back over 76.
CNBC's Rick Santelli saying this morning that the U.S. dollar may rebound back over 76 for " a couple of weeks".
Of the entire CNBC crew I respect Rick the most. Right or wrong in this thinking, If we see a higher dollar it would drive PM prices down. (Along with the stockmarket.) This may give a window of opportunity for PM buying. But more important, if it should happen it should not discourage physical precious metal holders who are into PMs over the long term.

| A lot of orders to buy PM's below the market. Many suddenly want some and are eager for any pullback. |
The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities. |

| Gold ended at up at a record $1150. Not bad at all considering the "stronger dollar". It is going to take more than a talk from Uncle Ben to get gold buyers confidence in the dollar. |

the dollar gets manipulated, Precious metals get manipulated(in the COMEX), but even if PM's go down for a while, they are by far a better hold over the long term!! And I do believe that the manipulation will end its hold at some point!
And I don't mind manipulation in the short term, because it gives me a buying opportunity!! :) |
