Hi everyone. Haven't been here in a while. I stopped collecting/hoarding copper pennies a while ago, and returned those I did have to the bank. I am wondering, should I resume collecting/hoarding? Is it worthwhile? I figured I could start small, just separating the copper and zinc I get in pocket change...your thoughts?

I would say yes because you can get at least a 40% return on the copper pennies now. If you use your spare time so much the better.

Yeah, I've thought about the extra $$....I'm already always on the lookout for (and saving) any wheats I come across, even common dates.

Welcome back. You could have sold those coppers to one of us.

The choice to save copper is up to you. There are buyers, it just depends on what your time is worth and how much you plan to make.

You should at least save what you come across in your change.
