ive been lookin at getting some platinum and i always deal with bordergold.com for my gold and silver, but ive begun to look at their premiums for platinum items and its outrageous, like 250$ over spot for a 1oz maple, as apposed to about 70$ over spot price on a 1oz gold maple
i figure they just dont move alot of platinum? im seeing lower premiums on apmex by about 250%

anyways , anyone who buys platinum regularly (near bc canada/seattle preferably) know of platinum dealers with low premiums?

I've purchased from Apmex and CNI(golddealer.com). CNI might ship to CAN.

Dont you wish you would have invested in platinum when it was at par with gold briefly? Talk about what would have been a very nice profit. Kicking myself now :)

I would try APMEX.

Are you bullish on platinum or are you just looking to diversify more? Platinum depends to much on the auto industry for my likeing..

Haha the premium on platinum was always high, so it hitting this prices means you'd break even

I've always liked the Australian Koala but finding the smaller 1/10 or 1/20 in the little plastic holder is not easy, unless that is, you are willing to pay way over bullion cost!

In my opinion, platinum at $1357 is still under priced based on the rarity of the metal with gold at $1102
