I'm still searching the large (to me) lot of older rolled pennies that I picked up awhile back at the bank.
Found the first foreign coin--not counting Canadian as foreign--tonight in a roll of pennies with nothing new than 1985.
It is a 1982 SVERIGE ORE 5. I tried to do an internet search and an eBay search but didn't have much luck. I think I saw that it is from Sweden (???) but couldn't find out the composition.
The one place I could find it listed was a place selling coins and they were asking $19.99 for one and mine looks a whole lot better. I realize that the coin is not worth that much but just curious if someone can tell me composition, etc.
1982 Swedish 5 ore. 40+ million minted. Part copper and part zinc - don't know the ratio. No longer legal tender in Sweden.
Worth a nickel or 10 cents in XF.
