I got a 1965 half from is it Ni, AG or NiCu? I wish I knew html real well because we really need one website that has metal content for almost every coin from around the world.

The '65 thru '00 is 4.5 grams of Ni. The same weight as the pre-82 Canadian nickel (well almost, the Cdn is 4.54g).

I didn't even think of this. Swiss 1966 half franc is .08350 silver.

I just found a 1978 1/2 franc (French) piece in a penny roll. I do believe it to be 4.5 g of nickel as stated above.

Just my two cents!
