Well, I have been sorting a few rolls at a time. Finally broke down and picked up my first box. Didn't really seem spectacular. I didn't keep track, but seemed about 15% or so coppers. Found about 6 or so wheats. I was a little excited about one wheat I found. My oldest so far. A 1937 D wheat. A little dirty, but not too worn.

Congrats on finding your oldest wheat to date.

Don't become discouraged as I have found that each "lot" of coins I obtain from the bank to search is unique and you never know what you might find.

Enjoy.

Welcome to our addiction. You will find the wheats imminently less exciting if you stay at it. Then you won't be satisfied unless you find IHPs, George Vs, or my personal favorite, an 1843 silver coin out of Schleswig Holstein worth about $50.

Just my two cents!

I am hooked. I enjoy it. I was hoping to find an IHP. But I will take the coppers that I find. :)
