Hello, I was looking for some previous links that was posted before. The first is the number of pennies in the U.S. It had illustrations of pennies in a football field(I think). The 2nd link is where people were building bridges with pennies. Also, I was wondering, does the gooberment melt old copper pennies?
Thanks for your help.

Look in the Link section at the very bottom of the forum for the penny project. The Canadian Mint does pull and sell pure Ni for scrap. I'm not aware of the US Mint doing that at this time.
