Is this guy a realcent member?

You must be logged in to see this link.

I suspect he isn't since if he were he would have mentioned some of his finds.

Maybe we should invite him to join our group.

Did anyone else notice he doesn't seem to be noting his "copper" percentage? I wonder if he is saving the copper.

He might not. I know from one bank I buy coins from there is a person that dumps that just searches for wheats.

He knows about Canadian Ni Nickels because he notes them as keepers. No hint he collects for copper. I see he searches small dollars and large dollars - something most of us don't bother with.

moboman I was talking to a teller at a local state employee’s credit union and she told me of the same type of guy that dumped pennies and only looked for wheat’s. They have a free lobby coin counter that they finally cut him off using due to his oversized dumps. Also, they will not allow individuals to buy the lose bags either.

It turns out he does know about Ryedale's machine but isn't sorting coppers.

Hi! Thanks for the nice comments concerning my blog. I've been a lurker here for some time and was pushing off writing an introductory post. I waited too long I guess.

As keys posted, nope I don't sort for coppers. I have been tempted, but right now I don't want to mess with the system I've got going and don't want to concentrate too much on pennies when I'm interested in other denominations as well. I am, however, very interested in the finds forum members have made and am impressed with the number of coins some people are going through.

Happy hunting everyone!

One night I found 41 Indian Head pennies in a bunch of hand rolls. It is without a doubt the most unique hoard I've come across. Here's the post with a picture of them all
