I disagree with him when he says that this coin has no value due to the verdigris (corrosive green) on the coin. Any one of us who found a coin exactly like this, corrosion and all, in our change or in our penny rolls would value it highly, especially those who have not found one yet.

I have a good relationship with my local coin store owner and he showed me "cull" Indian head pennies and sells them for 25 cents if they have the corrosion on them.
