I was dumping rolls of pennies in my coin counter to weed out the junk before they hit the Ryedale. As I dumped one out I saw a bunch of steel pennies. I was able to catch 7 of them before they shot through the machine.
I have a old 12" Subwoofer basket that has a very strong magnet in it. I used it to retrieve the other 8.
I though it was "sweet" to find 15 in one roll.

Nice haul! Steels are hard to find in the wild. i have found 8 this year. I go very lucky at work earlier in the year and for a week these rolls kept showing up with the same wrapper. Every roll with those wrappers had atleast one steelie in them except for the last one which had none. It was a nice week lol. Congrats on 15 at once. Its those kinda mini scores that keep our blood pumping!
