I posted this on goldforum and now I am posting this here for you to read and enjoy (and maybe win the contest)
*******************************************
In 2009, the BIC® CRISTAL® ball pen turns 50 in the U.S.A. The company has decided to offer a contest where you could win a 14K gold bullion bar. (I know, I know, a 24K gold bullion bar or one marked .999 is the norm, but this is the BIC® Company's contest so they get to pick out the prize.)
In order to try and win the gold ingot bar you have to either 1. Buy a specially marked pack of BIC® Pens and find one that writes in gold ink or 2. Write to the company for a free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) game piece while supplies last. Odds of winning- 1 in 141,013 Yes, it is a longshot, but it is a better longshot than the odds in trying to win a million dollars from your local state lottery.
Here is the website for more information-

Good luck to all!

In 2009, the BIC® CRISTAL® ball pen turns 50 in the U.S.A! To celebrate, we filled 50 CRISTAL® ball pens with gold ink. If your BIC® CRISTAL® ball pen writes with gold ink, you will win a 14-karat gold bullion bar worth $1,000. To play, either purchase a specially marked package of 10-pack CRISTAL® ball pens or click here to read the official rules and play.
Cool. Probably 2 toz or more. |
