I'm going to be in BC, Canada in November. Vancouver in particular.

I would love to pick up some unsorted or sorted Canadian cents if there are any Real Centers in that area.

If so, PM me and we can set up a meeting. I will give you US face value for the coins if they are unsorted and more for sorted (not sure off hand, make an offer on sorted).

Also: is it possible for me to go into a Canadian bank and get some cents, or is that not possible? Can I pre-order them? Can I do so if I elecronically set up an account or something? I'm willing to bend over backwards to take Canadian cents, any help would be appreciated!

I've never had any trouble buying coins from any bank when I've been in Victoria.
I've never got more than $50 at a time, one branch said they didn't have that many Nickles, but they sold me $20 worth.
It seemed just like buying from banks here in the U$ofA.
I believe I probably could have bought more than $50 from any bank branch if I'd wanted to.

There's profit if you melt things!!

I live in the Vancouver Area barrytrot. Would be happy to meet up with you.

I buy all kinds of coin from Canadian banks and rarely do they even ask if I have an account. I have sorted Canadian pennies if you want to pick some up - or we can hit some banks and use my Ryedale to sort them out. Also, you really should go for some Canadian Ni nickels. Be interesting to meet another Realcent member in person.
