It should be and should have been for quite a while now.... but I'm not convinced yet that the market manipulators will let it stay a bull market or try to jack with it again. (And if they bring it down, it is good for Kurr and I who would take advantage and buy some more silver).
SPIKED JUST NOW TO $15.49, but came back down to $15.33 so far. |

Some big institutional money seems to be reallocting into GOLD and SILVER. Further, the CFTC may be finally cracking down on the number of PM futures contracts held short by a couple of institutions. There may be a short squeeze that is in progress here. |

more likely its just a spike up on small volume when a lot of folks are on vacation prior to Labor Day. don't lose your head. |

SILVER OVER $16, WILL GOLD BREAK $1000 TODAY?
If GOLD convincingly moves above $1000, look for SILVER to accelerate higher even faster.
Premiums for coins and rounds seem to be holding firm at current levels over spot as we move higher.

we can only guess what the current forces are.
When manipulation still has a play then nothing can be certain or expected.
If manipulation loses control, then silver will likely go up to $18 or even maybe $25 this time.
Then they will get desperate and people and funds will take profit and manipulation will get some footing again.

| I am sure most of you are better informed on PM prices and trends than I am. But my poor opinion is that the big moves for PM's is in the next 5 years. Our economy is still in deflation. The seeds of inflation/dollar-devaluation (and Euro-devaluation) have been sown. But that sad harvest is still a while out. Markets may anticipate. If gold goes over 1300, and silver over 20, I guess that's nice. I won't do anything different if silver drops to $10 or rises to $20 in 2009. The big moves are still out in time. And it won't be an entirely happy time. My poor opinion. |
