On my trip to North Carolina/Mississippi I stopped at a gas station and in change I recieved a 1943 S War Nickle.
So I asked for some more nickles from the cashier and got a 1939 nickle in VG-F condition.
Anyone else gotten War Nickles in change?

I find them in my change from time to time. Change is really just a smaller sample of what I get in my boxes from the banks. I find more .999 Canadian nickels here in Ohio than war nickels though. |

Never found any in change. There must be a few people around here or the circualtion area is small. |
Silver Monometalism is the most permanent and stable form of money the world has seen. Natural law and history prove silver value is best multiplied by gold and best divided by copper. It is only in this counterfeit currency time when the natural law appears suspended. |

congrats on that. In my opinion they're not worth hoarding large-scale but having $200 FV on hand would be nice. |

I found 1 in change. I looked through a bag once and didn't find any. I am not sure if they are worth hunting. IMO |

No but buying the $200 FV on APMEX is a good deal.
I wouldn't go any farther though. |
