There are plenty of places online to buy and sell catalytic converters do a google search. As well as you are able to sell them to local yards too.

OR
You could install your own "bypass" tube (illegal in CA) if you were really worried.
JC Whitney sells "bypass" tubes (illegal in CA) and they have the instructions on how to send the proper signal back to your sensor(s).
You even get more horse power and slightly better mileage.
But, it's probably worse for the environment than burning 55 gallon drums of plasric coated wire ends (illegal in CA).

There's profit if you melt things!!
