For those of you who think there is no market for the new Rhodium coins, check this link out. I just found the first Rhodium coin for sale on Ebay. Note that these sell for $89 DELIVERED from the cohen mint. It's at $129 already on ebay.

Rhodium

At the current $1550 a troy ounce spot price, a gram of Rhodium is worth $49.83.

Haha, he's so over hyping that coin. Using Obama, Michelle as a prop.

Great opportunity to own a coin that was worth $1000 a few years ago. Rhodioum was $10,000.00 an ounce

So 31.1grams in an oz.troy/10,000. So 321.54 a gram.

Trolling is an art.

Yes, the hype and spelling errors are pretty lame but let's see what the final price is. I bet it closes at around $200.

I don't think pricing these coins at "melt value" is an acurate indicator of the value. You can't buy these coins anywhere and you can't really buy PHYSICAL Rhodium that easy either. It's hard enough to buy these rhodium coins from the guy minting them!

The coin dealers on this forum seem to price everything at "melt value". Are you guys "melting" any Rhodium these days?

Only 1 bid so far, but the listing also has 120 views. The seller is axing $9.70 for shipping which is outrageous. There is no way he wants to disclose that it comes from the Cohen Mint. Another flim flam man on ebay.

He's probably bidding on his own listing.

Silver Surfer was right to check the feedback rating. Some guys on EBAY are not good.

Some things never change, or do they?

The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities.

Sounds like it is the eBayer who has no market due to bad feedback. Cohan sees to be selling plenty from the reports here.

Is there another auction with a different ebayer where they have sold for a substantial profit? This guy is a bad example it apears....
