I opened up a microwave oven and found some copper inside. Still working on getting it out. Check it out.

Be careful around the capacitor in that thing, the voltage could kill!

The capacitor looks like a battery (a cylinder) with the connections soldered to the circut board, it holds voltage to make electronics work better, but like a rechargable battery it holds an electrical charge until needed.

If you can get a pair of linesman's gloves, the kind they use to fix the high tension wires, wear them before trying to do anything with the capacitor.
