I have a problem. I can't figure out what company is shipping these new boxes. They are all brand new. Here's a picture:
They are a bit thicker than brinks, and the rolls are inserting face up. The rolls are brown with the red outlining on each end. They have grooves on each side to place a paper strap in. The do not close shut like brinks boxes, they are sealed with some type of glue or something. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS! Taylor

Those look like the boxes that are really common out here. They are usually used by Loomis. I think they are manufactured by N.F. String & Son with peekaboo holes and without (cheaper). They are usually sealed with hot glue. |

With the exception of the missing inspection holes, that definitely looks like a N.F. String & Son box. CWI uses them in my parts (with the holes). The rolls are white with red markings though, not brown.

Those boxes are about all i see in SC. One bank uses the peek a boo style and i have to go into NC to get Brinks.

| RBC bank uses those (without holes, brown paper) in my part of NC. BOA uses the boxes with holes, white paper. I find the copper percentages are higher from the RBC boxes-- about 25% vs 22% at BOA. |

I just got a box of those down in South Texas, same as described, except the paper rolls did clearly mention NF String Sons

The boxes and the rolls inside can be many different combinations. The boxes and the paper rolls are just products purchased and used by the coin processing services. The boxes without the holes are a little cheaper because they get to skip the final die cut processing step to make the peekaboo holes. Often you will see the printing on the solid boxes telling you to inspect the coins prior to opening.. lol.
The most common out here are the generic solid boxes that have the flap glued at the top. The most common rolls are the generic tan kraft paper rolls. |

As mentioned several times already, that looks like a typical NF String box used by Loomis.

Thanks for the help. It looks like it is a RBC box. There are no peek a boo holes, I didn't realize the picture had holes. It's a solid bottom. Taylor |
