Interesting article:

This part here is important. I think this is something we all try sometime to see how others respond to it. It costs us nothing to do and gets other people to think about fiat currency:
"How do you start? Well, ask everybody you deal with whether they want to be paid in paper, or in silver and gold. Ask the plumber, the handyman, the hardware store, the grocery store, the dentist, the doctor, the mechanic. Just ask - worst they can do is say No. Carry a little silver & gold around with you. When the waitress brings your check, hold out silver in one hand and paper in the other. See which she takes."
In one way, I think I am a moonbat for thinking that PMs are a sound hedge against fiat dollars. How can a small percentage of hoarders stand a chance against government will? On the other hand, we know gold and silver have been around thousands of years and will not go away just because 'authorities' badmouth metals as being foolish investments. What does the herd do when the SHTF? They run to something that everyone else does....

| That is a very good article. Glad you put it up. |
Awake, O kings of the earth! Come ye, O, come ye, with your gold and your silver, to the help of my people, to the house of the daughters of Zion, to the help of the people of the God of this Land even Jesus Christ. |

Good article.
For the last several months I have been doing something kinda in the same theme as what you mentioned.
I pull out an Ag quarter and ask certain folks I know what one could buy with 25¢ back in the early 60's. Then I ask them what that same item would cost now days. Then I tell them what the price of Ag is, and what the melt value of that quarter is.
With the folks who are still capable of independent thought and are competent thinkers, you can see the thought processes in their eyes. Most folks just get a glazed over look in their eyes.
