On You must be logged in to see this link. it reports the daily spot price of copper, zinc, nickel, and silver. As new figures are released, the older values are overwritten, gone forever. I've been copying these spot prices into a tracking spreadsheet for a month now. I know Kitco's got graphs, but I'm saving the daily spot price for my own statistical fun.

The favor is... I'm going to be out of town for all of next week, and I won't be able to capture the spot prices during that time. Please post those prices into this thread so I can write them down when I return.

...unles of course you know of a website that reports the spot price of a given metal on a given day in the past. Please let me know if there is such a resource.

I think this is what you are looking for or at least close to it.
These are futures prices which I think are used to figure out the spot price, but I don't understand exactly how that works. But I think that if you look at a past future chart it shows closing spot values or darn close to them. Maybe somebody can shed some light on this...

Very grateful for your efforts, Horgad. Keep it up if you wish. I just wish I'd asked for silver's price, too!

Again, I'm not looking for the charts. I'm looking for the numbers, the answer to questions like "What was the LME closing spot price of (insert metal here) on October 9th, 2003?"
