I order both dimes and halves from different banks. Ordered halves had been really dismal but were starting to improve each week. So the obvious thing for me to do was to increase half orders and decrease dime orders. Right? Wrong. I went through five boxes of halves today and I got ONE 1969. These coins had more majic marker than any previous orders. The boxes had a new inspection number (new to me) 4924. Of course numbers don't mean anything much. Maybe next week will be better.

I hate those magic marked boxes too.

You might want to try something different. Do you know what company services your source bank - Dunbar, Brinks, etc? You might have to go to another source bank that is serviced by a different coin service company. If all the banks in your area are serviced by the same company, your options are limited. If not, start dumping in the other guy's back yard, while you do some cleanup in your back yard.

The coins are out there. Ya gotta keep searching to get 'em.
