To think that we paid a committee a lot of money to come up with that aesthetic disaster. Monopoly money looks better than that thing. It holds it's value too, $200 will still buy you a rail road company...

Very interesting. I ordered the Road to Roota comic book from the Boston Fed (its free) a few years ago before I knew about this man's analysis of it. I thought it was the weirdest story and didn't make much sense. I wondered why the Fed would publish such an odd comic. Who knows if he is right, but very interesting to think about. |

| I was just talking with agressive metal about this a few days ago, I think old US money was much more regal. Now it looks like junk. Also our coinage needs some work as well. |

there are several insightful folks who predict some sort of return to the gold standard - ex. Jim Sinclair. Rickards of Omnis as well, in fact he says a devaluation of the dollar v gold to about $5000 will make it possible to pay the national debt. FOFOA is another who predicts a once in a lifetime revaluataion of gold |
