Not usually. Has to be a unique serial or error.
If you have alot of crisp ones you may find a ebay buyer.
A local dealer gives them back as change.

Spend them fast.. before they are worth less than $2. I have been spending them all week.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

I spent all the 1976 $2's I bought during the Bicentennial in the early '90's.
Dealer's were selling them for $2.25-$2.35 and only offering $2 each for nice crisp ones.
I didn't have any special serial numbers and those shiny Eagles were going for about $7.00 or so each.
I'm still glad I made the switch from crisp green paper to Ag back then.
There's profit if you melt things!!

aren't the low mint bills and some star notes already getting a premium on Ebay, etc. I think you can still order $2 bills from the banks, and many will date 1976.

But the last time i ordered was 2 or 3 years ago.
