I had went into a local Well's Fargo that did not seem very helpful with wanting to order me halves so I decided to make them one of my official half dump banks.
Yesterday, I turned in $200 and the teller asked me where I get all these halves at. I explained I was a collector and looking for certain dates. He said oh you must be looking for the silver ones.
He said he doesn't check the change there because he doesn't have the patience to look for silver. He then asked me "Do you collect copper pennies" He said I have 3 of these that are not any use to me. They were 3 wheat pennies from the 40's and 50's. He sold them to me at face.
Not a huge score but still a cool thing to happen.
