I would consider this maybe a variety, but not a double die... Thoughts?

Any value?

nice! I just know very little but would agree. Seems the whole date would be off on an actual double. Cool coin.

i would say you have a machine doubled coin. You may already know this but If your looking at 95's for the doubled die, On the philidelphia mint it is most seen on IN GOD and liberty. On the denver one it is most seen on WE Trust

Actually, the 95P is hard doubled on the LIBERTY. I found one and had it NGC graded. Got me 40 Bucks.

Definitely machine doubling. Somewhere on coincommunity there is a really good thread about the distinction between machine doubling, and actual doubled die, as well as a good description of how a die becomes doubled. I'll see if I can find that.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

Think I've heard about that slight doubling on the D mint of the 1995 cent. If you want more and detailed info about that one and the processes of all types of coin doubling, go to You must be logged in to see this link. Also, there is two books out on the Lincoln Cent by the same person that has that coppercoins web site.
