Im sure everyone has heard about the big find.

Im wondering what if any effect this has on gold prices?

Watching kitco everyday i have noticed a downturn in price
over the last couple days but cant tell if this is from
the find or is it just a pullback that we see from time ta time?

I think part of the pullback was due to speculators taking their profits and from Spain's Central Bank selling gold.

The colonial period coins might have more of an effect on the price of colonial coins than gold and silver. Most of the colonial period coins found would be worth far more in numismatic value, so few would end up in the melting pot.

I should have chosen "Cut-n-Paste" as a forum name, since that is what I do, mostly.
