sounds like fun! You must be logged in to see this link. Im thinking about going to Springfield, just for the madness, said Melissa Miller, executive director of the Spencer County (Ind.) Tourism Bureau. It was like a Woodstock for coin collectors.

I'm in Eastern Missouri, and would really love to go, but I don't think I'll be able to talk my parents into a three hour drive just for a few rolls of new pennies...Sad face. |

Sounds like an awesome educational field trip opportunity to me. Wish I were there and could still drive. I'd make that trip in a heartbeat.

Plan on taking the kids definitely, and if I can talk the Bro in law too, I will have 8 people getting pennies. :)
I took the tours there as a kid, Lincoln's house, tomb, the capital building, etc was pretty cool. |
