I would like to recommend the Fiskars Chopping Axe. They come with an unbreakable handle, guaranteed never to loosen or seperate since the handle is molded over its head. Made in Finland. I find the 23.5 inch axe most useful as a tool or weapon if you are going to just get one size. I bought mine at Sears for about $29.00.

I like the fact that the handle won't loosen. Axes I've got, you got to worry about the wooden handle slipping from the axe as you use them for awhile. Are they nicely balanced to get a good swing?
