22.26% on my last dump. I just subtracted what I dumped from what I picked up and figured it out from that.
Man I need to sort more while I am still above 20% |

I usually get between 25% and 30%, with about 12 wheats per box. I'm lucky enough to live in an area (Western PA) that has one of the oldest populations in the U.S. Also, aside from Market Harmony, I don't think there are a lot of major sorters around here.

| I am certainly not a high roller by any means, but been getting 32-35 percent. Pick up 5-10 bucks when the mood strikes. A few wheats here and there. One roll of 2009 BU Lincoln cabin. |
I am really getting good at barely getting by |

anyone seeing their wheats going up? I swear, my averages have at least tripled the last round of boxes. I did a quick sift before dumping a box into the ryedale and came up with 40in a box, with a steel. Some VF - AUs coming out as well. Bunch of AU/BUs in the 60s. I think the average count may be up to 50 or more, and not 40 because I'm pulling multiple wheats out of some rolls.
This is what I noticed out of 5 boxes so far in a 10 box batch. If this keeps up, i'll have to try and up my boxes to get the good stuff while I can. |

I was getting around 7-8/50 for a while. What happened was that the banks in my area had gotten shipments of new zincs, so the counts went WAY down. Right now, all the boxes I've been pulling from 3-4 different bank types are all circulated. My copper counts have shot up. I believe now 25 - 30 % |

I just pick up from one bank. Sometimes it is just CWRs and sometimes it is a Brinks $25.00 box that I can get. It all depends on what they have and on how many rolls I have to return to swap out.
I have not noticed an increase in wheats though. Sure wish I would.
The people posting, for example 7/50, am I to assume that is 7 coins per roll of 50??? If so that would be a 14% rate and that seems to be what others of you said you are finding too.
The birth years I am looking for in zincs--gasp, gasp, gasp--seem to be holding about the same percentage. Sure hope they don't drop as I have a LONG WAY to go to reach my goals for the birth year coin projects but I have faith that I will find what I need--one penny at a time.
Enjoy, everyone. |

I'm in central Florida and am averaging about 20% per $25.00 box with about 10 wheats/box. Did get one stinker of a box a few weeks ago when I was in traveling in Palm Harbor. I stopped after getting skunked in 25 rolls. Must have been someone's dump bank. Won't be going there again. |

Got a 1905 IHP out of this batch. Most wheats were 40s &50s (as expected). Surprising amount were in the 10s, 20s, 30s though. Got 2 steels.
Probably wont bother upping my order. By the time I up the order, the wheat penny fluke wil probably pass. |

Don't have a Ryedale and don't plan on buying one ... just picking up 5$ - 10$ of penny rolls from a large variety of banks, neabyr and kind of far. Our personal bank where we have a couple of accounts has a coin sorter in the lobby, so 'dumping' is very easy for me.
For me, besides keeping the copper to see what happens as time goes on, with the economy, the biggest fun (for my wife too) is to open another roll and see what, if any treasures may be there.
Average only about 1 Wheatie per 5-6 rolls ... and around 16 or 17 coppers per roll (though a few rolls have only 4 or 5 coppers). Have found 2 1943 steelies (from lots and lots of rolls!) and a few good old dates, but nothing rare or key. No IH as yet.
I'm still sure there's a 1914D or maybe a 1955 P- DDie in those rolls
Have fun sorting, hoarding, or whatever you do and best wishes on getting great finds!
